Since 2018, APSS has attained the coveted certification for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). These are truly extraordinary times that we live in. Emerging technologies such as machine learning, predictive analytics, blockchain and IoT are not only changing the way businesses operate but also how they source, buy and track their spend. COVID-19 has also demonstrated that resiliency and sustainability are just as important as cost efficiency, if not more, when it comes to ensuring continuity in supply chain. Over the next decade, I believe that procurement will become more of an strategic asset than a corporate function with third-party supply chain companies such as APSS acting as a crucial extension of in-house procurement teams. That is why having owned and run APSS for the past three years and more, I have found purpose and satisfaction in servicing every client and every order that comes through our doors.
